6. Booking and Payment Terms

  • Hotel Reservations: Hotel bookings including room type or room class, amenities and bathroom/shower inclusions will be stated in your itinerary provided to you by Meridian Golf Tours. Hotel Reservations are not confirmed until the deposit payment is received.
  • Golf Tee Time Reservations: Golf course tee times, including the Old Course Tee times, may not be available for the dates requested. Final confirmed Golf course tee time reservations will be be stated in your itinerary provided to you by Meridian Golf Tours. 
  • Booking Process: To book a tour or service through our Website, follow the instructions provided during the booking process.
  • Payment Terms: A 40% deposit is payable when making a booking with Meridian Golf Tours Limited. The balance (60%) is payable 70 days prior to your arrival date. We accept Bank Transfers to our Bank Account and also provide payment links for payments via Wise.
  • Cancellation Policy: Our cancellation policy is as follows: Cancellation fees are as follows:
  • 90 days or more prior to Start Date, full deposit.
  • 90 days or less prior to Start Date, full price.
  • Notification of cancellation must be forwarded in writing to Meridian Golf Tours via email as soon as possible at info@meridiangolftours.com.
  • Cancellation fees will be charged to cover non-refundable charges incurred by Meridian Golf Tours in making your reservations, including administrative costs the total of which may run over your deposit amount
  • Should we book you a guaranteed Old Course tee time package through an authorised provider cancelations policies may differ
  • Refunds will be processed according to our refund policy.
  • Transfer of Bookings: Where you are prevented from proceeding with the golf tour package, you may transfer the golf tour package to another person (“transferee”) who satisfies all the conditions applicable to the Package, subject to you providing reasonable notice to us prior to the commencement of the package. Please note that you and the transferee shall be jointly and severally liable to us for payment of the balance price and for any additional costs arising from such transfer. Booking transfer fees will be charged by Meridian Golf Tours at £250 per person.

7. Travel Documents and Requirements

  • Travel Documents: It is your responsibility to ensure that you have all necessary travel documents (e.g., passport, visa) before embarking on a tour.
  • Health Requirements: Some tours may have specific health requirements; it is your responsibility to comply with these requirements.
  • Travel Insurance: Meridian Golf Tours Limited do not provide Travel Insurance as part of their golf tours. To assist those traveling from the United States, there is the US Travel Insurance Association which lists numerous member companies http://www.ustia.org/. We highly recommend that you purchase travel insurance.

8. GOLF HANDICAP CERTIFICATE

All golfer must carry a current Handicap Certificate and a general Letter of Introduction from Your home club, unless waivered by prior arrangement with Us. Golf Play can be denied on failure to produce this to the starter at many British golf courses. Your itinerary will detail the Handicap limit applicable to you for play during your tour (based on the course with the lowest handicap requirement).

9. Liability Disclaimer

We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of this Website or participation in any tours or services offered through it. This includes but is not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Meridian Golf Tours and its affiliates from any claims arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of this Website.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Scotland, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of [Insert Arbitration Body], as amended from time to time.
